Prince Harry<\/a> and Meghan Markle<\/a>\u00a0left Dodgers fans far from impressed after being handed the best seats in the house for a front-row date night at Game 4 of the World Series.<\/p>\n

The superstar couple, now seemingly deeply ingrained in LA life, were decked out in Dodgers merch for the big game on Tuesday night, with Fox’s TV cameras regularly zoomed in on them as they enjoyed the action.<\/p>\n

In a surprising decision quickly noticed by fans, Harry and Meghan were given front-row seats worth tens of thousands of dollars – while local legends Magic Johnson<\/a> and Sandy Koufax were relegated to the second row.<\/p>\n

Johnson is a part-owner of the team, while Koufax is a four-time World Series winner and Hall of Fame pitcher – but it was Harry and Meghan who were instead given the royal treatment.<\/p>\n

On social media, one fan wrote: ‘Prince Harry and his wife sitting IN FRONT of Sandy Koufax? Un-fn-real. #WorldSeries #Dodgers’<\/p>\n

Another added: ‘Why the hell are they in front of Sandy?’, while a third noted: ‘They need to leave.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fans were left infuriated by the decision to give the couple royal treatment over the local icons<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

‘Magic Johnson is royalty,’ another noted of the NBA legend, who has become a billionaire and part-owner of both the Lakers, Dodgers and Washington Commanders in the years since he retired from his own professional basketball career.<\/p>\n

Prior to the game, MLB posted a clip of a smiling Harry and Meghan greeting fans as they made their way into the stadium, flanked by security on the way to their seats.<\/p>\n

Meghan sat on Harry’s right in the front row of the crowd, in a highly sought-after seat directly behind the pitch clock. It is unclear whether they paid for the seats, or were invited as VIPs by the team.<\/p>\n

Both wore blue Dodgers caps, and the superstar pair were matching with the rest of their outfits too, pairing white shirts with a blue over-layer.<\/p>\n

Their decision to rep LA over Toronto also left some fans perplexed, given both of their connections to Canada.<\/p>\n

Markle lived in Toronto while filming the TV show that made her famous – Suits – spending seven years there and regularly talking up her relationship with the city.<\/p>\n

‘It is like my home,’ she told Best Health magazine in 2015. ‘At the onset, I didn\u2019t know what to expect, but everyone has been so welcoming.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘The people are so kind, I love the food scene, and I really love exploring little nooks around the city with my two dogs\u2026 I love how much green space there is tucked away \u2014 you wouldn\u2019t expect that.’<\/p>\n

She has even been spotted in Blue Jays colors on multiple occasions, with one fan photo in a cap being widely shared on social media.<\/p>\n

Harry, meanwhile, also has a deep connection with Canada which has left fans claiming he should be supporting the Blue Jays over the Dodgers.<\/p>\n

He trained with Canadian forces during his time in the military, and Canada is part of the Commonwealth, once under British rule.<\/p>\n

There are 56 countries in the Commonwealth, with 14 that still recognize Harry’s father – King Charles – as their head of state, including Canada.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday night, meanwhile, it didn’t take long for Harry and Meghan to be shown on the big screen to the sold-out crowd.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On social media, though, many were pleased to see the famous couple, with one writing that it had given the game ‘the Royal seal of approval’.<\/p>\n

‘Love seeing global icons reppin’ LA!’ another added. ‘Dodgers uniting the world one hat at a time.’<\/p>\n

Harry and Meghan were far from the only celebrities shown by Fox’s TV coverage on Tuesday night, with the likes of James Marsden, Austin Butler and Tobey Maguire also in the stands.<\/p>\n

Sydney Sweeney was another big name in the stands, shown on Fox shortly after she sparked a liberal meltdown with her starring role in the pregame introduction video.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s visit to the big game comes just days after they shared photos of their trip to a pumpkin patch with Archie and Lilibet.<\/p>\n

The footage was notable given it was perhaps the most intimate glimpse Meghan has given into her children and their new life in LA.<\/p>\n

In a clip shared to Instagram, the Duchess of Sussex<\/a>, 44, was seen with Prince Harry and their two children on an outing to Lane Farms in Santa Barbara, and afterwards carving their Halloween decorations<\/a> at home.\u00a0<\/p>\n
