Not only did the singer-songwriter score a Number 1 independent album with ‘My 21st Century Blues<\/a>‘, she picked up more BRIT Awards<\/a> in 2024 than any other artists in a single year – but she doesn’t just pen infectious pop anthems for herself…<\/p>\n From the likes of world superstar Beyonc\u00e9<\/a>, to Ellie Goulding<\/a>, Zara Larsson<\/a> and Anne-Marie<\/a>, RAYE has co-written a number of big hits. She’s also helped out artists such as Mabel<\/a>, Madison Beer and John Legend, to name just a few – with her latest writing collabs<\/a> being with Little Mix<\/a> stars Perrie Edwards<\/a> and Jade Thirlwall<\/a>, as they both release solo material.<\/p>\n A talented songwriter, RAYE has not only captivated audiences with her own chart-topping bops, but has also penned hits for some of the biggest names in the industry. Here we take a look at some of the biggest tracks that the sought-after collaborator has co-written.<\/p>\n Co-written by RAYE and released by British house duo Blonde, ‘All Cried Out’ was a hit in 2015. The song had huge success reaching the top spot in the UK Dance chart, and Number 4 in the UK Singles chart.<\/p>\n Watch the music video for ‘All Cried Out’ on YouTube<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Released back in 2016, Charli XCX’s ‘After the Afterparty’ was a Top 40 hit for the singer, with a song that was penned by Charli along with a team of songwriters, which included RAYE. RAYE also featured on a VIP mix of the song, along with Stefflon Don and Rita Ora<\/a>.<\/p>\n Watch the music video for ‘After the Afterparty’ on YouTube<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Hailee Steinfeld and BloodPop released ‘Capital Letters’ in 2018. The song featured on the Fifty Shades Freed soundtrack, and was written by RAYE along with a team of songwriters, which included Ellie Goulding<\/a>. The song was a successful in America reaching the Number 22 in the US Mainstream Top 40 (Billboard), and being certified Silver in the UK.<\/p>\n Watch the music video for ‘Home With You’ on YouTube<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n RAYE co-wrote ‘Bigger’ released by Beyonc\u00e9<\/a>, which featured on the singer’s 2019 album ‘The Lion King: The Gift’. It also featured in the 2020 film Black Is King. It was written at a writing camp at Beyonc\u00e9’s studio, and in 2019, RAYE tweeted: ‘Beyonc\u00e9 told me I’ve written Track 1 on the new album \ud83d\ude2d\ud83d\ude2d\ud83d\ude2d\ud83d\ude2d\ud83d\ude2d\ud83d\ude2d it’s called Bigger . The song was written by Ellie along with RAYE and Fred Again.. and is about the “reckless days of adolescence”, according to Ellie.<\/p>\n Watch the music video for ‘Sixteen’ on YouTube<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Zara Larsson’s<\/a> 2021 album ‘Poster Girl’ featured a song written by RAYE on the Summer Edition, called ‘Last Summer’. Listen to ‘Last Summer’ on YouTube<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Rita and RAYE go way back – RAYE performed as a support act on Rita’s 2018 tour, and also once performed ‘Girls’ at a live show in 2017 before the song was later released with Charli XCX featuring.
