Comedy Central has shared a new update about South Park<\/strong> just days before its Halloween return. The announcement teases fresh storylines and unexpected twists as the long-running animated series continues its latest season with a special new episode<\/strong> arriving this week.<\/p>\n

South Park sets Halloween special release date for new episode<\/h2>\n

Comedy Central confirmed that South Park will air a special Halloween episode titled \u201cThe Woman in the Hat\u201d on Friday, October 31 at 10 p.m. ET\/PT, marking a shift from the show\u2019s usual Wednesday time slot. The update was first shared by the official South Park account on X (formerly Twitter), which posted, \u201cSouth Park is all new Friday, October 31st at 10pm ET\/PT on Comedy Central with a special Halloween episode.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new installment follows a brief delay after the show\u2019s October 15 season premiere. According to Comedy Central\u2019s episode description, \u201cThe White House deals with a disruptive spirit from the east wing; Stan worries that South Park has become too political.\u201d The episode also references President Donald Trump\u2019s controversial order to demolish part of the White House to make space for a ballroom, a storyline continued from the premiere.<\/p>\n

A promotional still shows Trump and Satan overseeing the East Wing\u2019s destruction. Another teaser depicts Kristi Noem and Stephen Miller facing a supernatural presence inside the White House. The second episode of Season 28 continues the storyline about Trump and Satan\u2019s relationship and the chaos spreading through Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n

The October 15 premiere introduced South Park\u2019s version of investor Peter Thiel. He predicted that the world would end in \u201csix to seven days,\u201d creating hysteria among the town\u2019s students. That episode ended with Eric Cartman heading to Washington, D.C., a storyline expected to continue in the Halloween special.<\/p>\n

After Friday\u2019s episode, South Park will return to its regular schedule. New episodes will air on November 12, November 26, and December 10 on Comedy Central. Each episode will stream the following day on Paramount+ and other platforms.<\/p>\n
