Dancing with the Stars\u2019 Jan Ravnik<\/strong> has responded to Maksim Chmerkovskiy<\/strong>\u2019s harsh criticism about his performance on the show. He said that he got \u201call the love on this show,\u201d and whoever is trying to \u201cstay relevant,\u201d outside the show, \u201cthis is not the way to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n After getting eliminated from Dancing with the Stars Season 34 during Halloween Night, Jan Ravnik and his celebrity partner Jen Affleck reflected on their journey. During their conversation, Ravnik also shared his response to Maks Chmerkovskiy\u2019s criticism of him.<\/p>\n \u201cI have no comment on that,\u201d Ravnik told Entertainment Tonight<\/a>. \u201cI got all the love on this show. All the pros and judges also\u2014everyone gave me so much love. And people who\u2019re trying to stay relevant, spreading the hate\u2014this is not the way to do it. I never will spread or take the hate,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n Later, during an interview with US Weekly<\/a>, he shared more thoughts on the subject. \u201cI mean, look, everyone has [an] opinion. Everyone has a right to have [an] opinion. Haters [are] going to hate and whoever loves us, loves us, \u201d Ravnik explained.<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cWhat am I going to do? You can\u2019t change their mind. Everyone can have [an] opinion \u2014 either I respect [it] or don\u2019t respect [it]. He added, \u201cYeah, let them talk. If they want to stay relevant in that way, yeah, let them hate.\u201d<\/p>\n Chmerkovskiy, who has been associated with the show for 17 years as a pro dancer before retiring in 2023, heavily criticised Ravnik\u2019s role in Dancing with the Stars Season 34.<\/p>\n On his wife Peta Murgatroyd\u2019s podcast, The Penthouse with Peta, he said, \u201cDancing with the Stars is a worldwide phenomenon\u2026 I\u2019m sorry, Jan has absolutely no business being a pro on Dancing with the Stars.\u201d<\/p>\n The DWTS alum continued, \u201cThere\u2019s zero foundation technique, quality, understanding of the partnership. Bro, I\u2019m getting emotional. It is absurd, and this is unreal how blind we have to be, and God forbid say what\u2019s obviously there.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHe had no idea what foxtrot is supposed to look like,\u201d Chmerkovskiy added, pointing out Affleck and Ravnik\u2019s foxtrot performance. \u201cHow are you going to expect him to teach it and deliver that message in a format that is completely different from even ballroom dancing?\u201d the dancer added.<\/p>\n Both Affleck and Chmerkovskiy agreed that Affleck was at a major \u201cdisadvantage\u201d in the show.
