Chase Chrisley<\/strong><\/a> opened up about his relationship with sister Savannah Chrisley<\/strong><\/a> since getting sober.<\/p>\n

During the Wednesday, October 29, episode of the \u201cChrisley Confessions\u201d podcast<\/a>, Chase, 29, reflected on how his<\/a> addiction struggles led to his falling out with Savannah, 28.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe had every right to be upset with me and be mad,\u201d he noted. \u201cSavannah can hold a grudge though. She can hold a grudge.\u201d<\/p>\n

Chase and Savannah\u2019s mother, Julie Chrisley,<\/strong> defended how her kids coped differently with their parents\u2019 prison stints. Julie, 52, argued that Savannah dealt with her pain by working on getting them released. Her efforts paid off when they were pardoned by President Donald Trump in May and released after 28 months behind bars.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tLike many sibling duos, Savannah Chrisley and Chase Chrisley\u2019s relationship is far from perfect. Ever since Chrisley Knows Best premiered in 2014, viewers have had the chance to watch Todd and Julie Chrisley\u2019s kids grow into adults. While Savannah and Chase\u2019s sibling bond proved to be great reality TV, things got complicated once Todd and [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cShe was also in therapy,\u201d Chase pointed out. \u201cI just would never talk about how I felt and would never talk about my emotions. Eventually, you bottle all that up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before his parents came home, Chase made headlines when he was<\/a> arrested in January on a simple battery charge after being named as a suspect in an alleged assault at an Atlanta bar. He was taken into police custody and later released on a $10,000 bond.<\/p>\n

Chase claimed through a statement from his lawyers at the time that the situation was \u201centirely blown out of proportion.\u201d During an episode of Lifetime\u2019s The Chrisleys: Back to Reality<\/em>, which aired in September, Julie and husband Todd Chrisley<\/strong> expressed concern about their son\u2019s behavior.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I had to find out about my son\u2019s arrest while I was in prison, it makes me afraid,\u201d Julie said in audio from a prison phone call. \u201cThe worst possible thing as a parent that you can think of is the thought that he is conducting himself in a way that is leading him down a bad path. It just, it breaks my heart.\u201d<\/p>\n

Todd, 56, shared his frustrations in a separate phone call. \u201cI don\u2019t know that I was shocked, because I had been warning Chase for years to stop with the drinking. There\u2019s nothing in a bar that was gonna bring you no good fortune,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Chase\u2019s relationship with Savannah also took a hit because of his drinking.<\/a><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe Chrisley family was \u201ccompletely divided\u201d when Todd and Julie Chrisley were in prison, according to Lifetime\u2019s The Chrisleys: Back to Reality docuseries. \u201cLast I checked, no one else in my family is doing anything to fight for my parents,\u201d Savannah Chrisley said during the September 1 premiere episode. \u201cNo one else is going out [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI have tried. I have tried to help him,\u201d she said in a confessional interview on the reality show. \u201cI had set up for him to go to a treatment facility. I had already bought him a plane ticket. We had already gone through the whole intake process and then he told me to go eff myself.\u201d<\/p>\n

Todd revealed on Wednesday\u2019s podcast that his kids are in a \u201cmuch better place\u201d<\/a> after Chase prioritized his sobriety. He previously celebrated Chase\u2019s improvement on the October 22 episode of his and Julie\u2019s show.<\/p>\n
