\n\tThe ever-candid singer dropped her best advice for securing a celebrity hookup in a video shared on Interview Magazine\u2019s<\/em> Instagram<\/a>, saying, \u201cI\u2019ve only done this a couple of times. It\u2019s been quite meticulously planned.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThere was a particular celebrity that I was really after, romantically, and I looked at his touring schedule and he was gonna be in Japan,\u201d Allen continued. \u201cSo I made sure that I was at this festival and that I would be one of the very few English-speaking people at the same festival as him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then we were in a lie-down bed together.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWhen we landed in Tokyo, Liam said, in his distinctive nasal twang, \u2018What you doing now? Why don\u2019t you come back to our hotel\u2019\u2026 I was like, \u2018Yeah, OK.’\u201d The controversial part of this hookup was that Gallagher was still married to Nicole Appleton at the time of his and Allen\u2019s entry to the mile-high club. <\/p>\n

\n\tAllen claimed Appleton eventually learned about their hookup six months later. Appleton, who shares son Gene with Gallagher, split from the rocker in 2013 after he fathered a child with an American journalist<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe exact identity of Allen\u2019s other celebrity hookup, likely the encounter she described to Interview Magazine, is a little harder to confirm but she did give more details about the interaction during a 2024 episode of her podcast<\/a>, Miss Me<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\tAllen\u2019s longtime best friend and podcast co-host Miquita Oliver<\/a> revealed that Allen hooked up with her crush during the early 2000s, while they were both teenagers. \u201cThere was a pop star,\u201d Oliver said, keeping the celebrity anonymous. \u201cI found out that he fancied me. I told Lily that I liked him. Cue Lily, gets herself to a festival in Japan and seduces him.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAllen admitted that she flew to Japan to specifically \u201clock that one in\u201d and added: \u201cI fancied him, so I was getting mine. By the way, I think pop stars are fair game, like, I don\u2019t care.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOliver replied: \u201cIf I didn\u2019t hate you so much for it, I would have applauded you. It was admirable.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAllen is currently promoting her fifth studio album, West End Girl<\/a><\/em>, which chronicles the downfall of her marriage to Stranger Things<\/em> actor David Harbour<\/a>, to whom she was married from 2020 until late 2024. <\/p>\n
