Mia Goth, Dan Stevens and Zach Galifianakis have signed on to star in Hey Bear<\/em>, the feature directoral debut of Portlandia<\/em> co-creator Jonathan Krisel.<\/p>\n Described as a \u201ccoming of rage\u201d story, from a script written by Emmy Award-winner Carrie Kemper (Beef<\/em>), Hey Bear<\/em> follows Claire (Goth), a woman who seeks revenge on a bear after it kills her husband, Gregory (Stevens). Believing the animal was euthanized, Claire later discovers it has been relocated and vows to track it down. She teams up with a park ranger named Putt (Zach Galifianakis), whose own motives complicate their mission.<\/p>\n More from The Hollywood Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n HanWay Films will handle international sales on the film and will be introducing it to buyers at the American Film Market in Los Angeles next month. WME Independent and UTA Independent Film Group will handle North American sales.<\/p>\n \u201cThere is nothing more thrilling than coming across a project that breaks barriers in terms of originality,\u201d said HanWay CEO Gabrielle Stewart in a statement. \u201cAs absurd and crazy as the premise of this story is, you always fully connect and empathize with Claire\u2019s journey as she figures out how, out of grief, to take ownership of her life again. Mia Goth, Dan Stevens and Zach Galifianakis are the dream team to make us laugh, feel, and gasp with shock and horror.\u201d<\/p>\n Hey Bear<\/em> is being produced by Alix Madigan (Winter\u2019s Bone<\/em>).
