HGTV fans served as the main inspiration behind Drew<\/a> and Jonathan Scott<\/a>\u2018s upcoming series, Property Brothers<\/a>: Under Pressure<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe want to hear what you want to see,\u201d Drew\u00a0shared in an interview with Us Weekly<\/a> posted on Tuesday, October 28, noting that he and Jonathan were inspired by people looking to leave the city in favor of a ranch lifestyle for their show Chasing the West<\/a><\/em>, which premiered earlier this year.<\/p>\n \u201cThey thought it was gonna be easy, stare at the mountains and sipping their wine, but it\u2019s hard work,\u201d he joked of the duo\u2019s Chasing the West<\/em> clients. \u201cBut aside from that, the new show is another one that our fans were asking for. And it\u2019s the whole process, again, from house hunting, getting that offer in, [to] renovating the house.\u201d<\/p>\n Drew noted that \u201cit\u2019s so interesting to see the different dynamics of families and what they feel,\u201d adding, \u201cThey don\u2019t want to touch their home because they just don\u2019t know where to start, but we come in. They\u2019re under pressure, but we take that pressure off their shoulders and get them in their homes.\u201d<\/p>\n Jonathan chimed in, stating, \u201cIf we had a room of 100 families that had just purchased or renovated a home and we said, \u2018How many of you felt that you were so under pressure that you want to quit the whole process?\u2019 I guarantee you every hand would go up right now because that\u2019s just the state we\u2019re in right now \u2014 the cost of renovations, the chaos. So, this is a show that shows the good, the bad, and the ugly.\u201d<\/p>\n Earlier this month, HGTV announced Property Brothers: Under Pressure<\/em> as a part of the latest slate of new and returning shows<\/a> for the end of 2025 and 2026. The 14-episode series, which will premiere next year, will follow Drew and Jonathan as they help clients through every stage of the home-buying and renovating process.<\/p>\n The series will mark the latest in HGTV\u2019s Property Brothers<\/em> franchise, which includes the original series and spinoffs such as Celebrity IOU<\/a><\/em>, Don\u2019t Hate Your House with the Property Brothers<\/a><\/em>, Property Brothers: Forever Home<\/a><\/em>, Brother vs. Brother<\/a><\/em>, Property Brothers: Buying and Selling<\/em>, and Property Brothers at Home<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n
