Justine Lupe is sharing how much she loves being a mom<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
The actress spoke with PEOPLE at the season 2 premiere of Nobody Wants This<\/em> and shared what life looks like with her daughter Ellis<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Lupe shares her daughter with husband Tyson Mason<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Justine Lupe<\/a> is loving being a mom to her baby girl.<\/p>\n The Nobody Wants This<\/em> star, 36, spoke with PEOPLE at the Oct. 16 premiere of season 2 of her Netflix show and shared more about becoming a mom to her daughter Ellis, whom she shares with husband Tyson Mason.<\/p>\n Lupe, who previously shared she was five months pregnant while filming the first season of Nobody Wants This<\/em>, tells PEOPLE that she’s been loving this period of adjustment as she settles into parenthood.<\/p>\n “Oh gosh. I’ve got to say it’s kind of annoying, but I’m really loving all of it,” says Lupe. “She’s a delight, she’s so funny. The couple was joined by their baby daughter, Ellis, and their dog. Ellis, who was born in August 2024, wore a frilly white dress, and the couple’s pup even got in on the action, sporting a mini tuxedo.<\/p>\n When\u00a0Nobody Wants This<\/em>\u00a0premiered on Netflix that September, Lupe shared\u00a0a post<\/a>\u00a0revealing that she was more than five months pregnant while filming <\/a>the series. She went on to say that she even tried to hide her pregnancy from the show’s cast and crew for a while.<\/p>\n “Nobody Wants This is out on\u00a0@netflix<\/a>\u00a0today! This show carried me through my first 5+ months of pregnancy with so much warmth,” she wrote in the post.<\/p>\n She went on to express her appreciation for “having a fully pregnant showrunner in\u00a0@erinfoster<\/a>, a relentless champion for motherhood in\u00a0@kristenanniebell<\/a>, a DP in\u00a0@adrianpengcorreia<\/a>\u00a0who knows how to work the shit out of camera to make me look, well, not pregnant.”<\/p>\n Lupe then recounted how her costars and the crew learned she was expecting a baby. “And a cast and crew who supported me from the moment my Gucci skirt ripped open in both the front and backsides on set at 2am when they had no idea I was pregnant and thought I was just rapidly falling apart,” she continued.<\/p>\n On Feb. 6, Lupe took a moment to mark six months of parenthood, while giving a sweet shout-out to Mason on\u00a0Instagram<\/a>.
