Pete Davidson<\/strong><\/a><\/span> has no regrets about his decision to say goodbye to the majority of his tattoos.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a lot, and it\u2019s super worth it for me because I don\u2019t like my tattoos, and I am a different person than I was when I got them,\u201d Davidson, 31, exclusively shared with Us Weekly<\/i> while celebrating the all new Amazon Alexa+.<\/span><\/a> \u201cWhen I see myself in the mirror, I just see like, you know, poor decision making and I wasn\u2019t there yet as an adult.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the record, the Saturday Night Live<\/i><\/span><\/a> album doesn\u2019t think there\u2019s anything wrong with tattoos.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know people who have f***ing really cool ones,\u201d he explained. \u201cIt\u2019s just, mine are literally stupid, except for like five of them that I\u2019m keeping.\u201d<\/p>\n

Davidson, who\u2019s expecting his first child with girlfriend Elsie Hewitt, discussed his excitement while appearing on the Wednesday, August 6, edition of Late Night With Seth Meyers.\u00a0 \u201cI\u201dm stoked. I can\u2019t wait. Let\u2019s go,\u201d he said, adding, \u201cI\u2019m so excited. I\u2019ve never been more excited for [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Back in 2021, Davidson first revealed his plans<\/span><\/a> to get a majority of his tattoos removed \u2014 a notoriously laborious, expensive and painful process. In August, however, the comedian said one of the tattoos that will be staying is his tribute to Hillary Clinton<\/strong> on his leg<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Although he\u2019s only 30 percent done, Davidson previously said he\u2019s spent nearly $200,000<\/span><\/a> on the process so far.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a long game. Anyone who\u2019s interested in doing it, just know that it\u2019s gonna take a long time,\u201d Davidson explained. \u201cThat\u2019s a hard thing, especially for a guy like me who does comedy. Comedy is instant gratification, right? You tell a joke [and know] if it\u2019s funny right away. But if you wanna do it, it\u2019s really worth it. And my arms are almost fully clear, and I can wear a T-shirt. It\u2019s nice.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked if he\u2019s noticed a difference in how people treat him with less visible tattoos, Davidson said he hasn\u2019t seen much of a change.<\/p>\n

At the same time, he acknowledged all the personal work he has done on his mental health to make him a better man.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been working on myself personally and my mental health, and I think it\u2019s showing,\u201d he said. \u201cYou can see it, and people are seeing that. So the overall kind of vibe has been really positive lately.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before becoming a father, Davidson is excited to partner up with Amazon again as the company launches Alexa+, described as smarter, more conversational and even sassier than its OG counterpart.<\/p>\n
