Pop star Katy Perry<\/a> flaunted her figure in a red open back dress during her 41st birthday celebrations<\/a> recently.<\/p>\n

The Fireworks singer took to her Instagram on Oct. 28 to share a carousel of of snaps of herself with friends as she donned a stunning deep red backless gown that was paired with silver jewelry and black heels.<\/p>\n

The mother-of-one, who has moved on from Orlando Bloom<\/a>, 48, to former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau<\/a>, 53, simply captioned the post, “Level 41.”<\/p>\n

While Perry shared tons of snaps of herself in the gorgeous red dress, she also included a video of herself blowing out candles on a cake while backstage after a recent show on her ongoing Lifetimes Tour.<\/p>\n

The next snap shows the cake destroyed on the ground. A longer video that features the cake’s demise has surfaced online and has some fuming online.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The clip shows Perry, still dressed in costume from the show, surrounded by her backup dancers and crew members as she blew out the candles on the large sheet cake.<\/p>\n

She then picked up the cake and tried to chuck it at a suit-clad man wearing a headset. However, she missed and it ended up on the floor.<\/p>\n

The former American Idol judge laughed as a few of her dancers approached the destroyed cake, bent down and scooped up some to try, per Page Six<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A “genuinely confused and upset” X user, who seemingly sarcastically claims that her mother baked the cake, posted the video and slammed Perry for her behavior.<\/p>\n

“my mom was the one that baked this cake, she was so excited about the opportunity to make a cake for Katy Perry and spent so long on it, im genuinely confused and upset as to why she would do this,” the X user shared, prompting furious fans to join the discussion.<\/p>\n<\/form>\n

“I wonder what having that mindset is like, to just throw away a whole cake everyone could\u2019ve enjoyed\u2026 and then leaving that mess on the floor for someone else to clean up cause I know damn well she ain\u2019t pick up no broom and mop after lol,” one replied.<\/p>\n

Someone else wrote, “the craziest craziest part is that someone else is gonna clean that s— up.”<\/p>\n

Another noted, “Never understand why people throw or push people\u2019s faces into them, such a waste,\u201d while a fourth said, “lowk[ey] feel bad for her crew cause they looked excited for some cake.”<\/p>\n

Yet another person added, “Katy can\u2019t do anything without being cringe AF.”<\/p>\n

However, a few came to Perry’s defense, with one arguing that “she paid for it and she can do whatever the f— she wants with it.”<\/p>\n

Someone else pointed out that “sometimes celebrities accept cakes [from fans] but ruin them to avoid possible poisoning. The decent ones try to stage it as an accident though.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Meanwhile, Perry’s birthday post on Instagram got tons of love from fans, with one person gushing, “You look absolutely gorgeous PROOF! It only gets better.”<\/p>\n

Another praised, “HAPPY 41st stunner! – Red is your colour!!!” A third commented, “41 years of pure glamour and beauty. Long live this queen.”<\/p>\n

Yet another said, “She is glowing and looks happy! Happy birthday my love.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
