Kate Beckinsale<\/a> is grateful to the cast and crew of her new movie Wildcat, who supported her while she cared for her late mother.<\/p>\nOn Wednesday, Oct. 29, the actress, 52, posted a carousel of photos on Instagram<\/a> featuring pictures of her mom Judy Loe when she visited the set of the action-thriller, which was filmed before Loe died in July at age 78<\/a>.<\/p>\n\u201cNot only the best cast and crew but also the last movie set my mum was able\u00a0 to visit me on\u00a0 and my God they treated her like the queen she was . And supported me being her carer at night and working during the day which was a lot . Thank you . I\u2019ll never forget the kindness x,\u201d Beckinsale wrote.<\/p>\n

The Underworld star announced her mother\u2019s death in an emotional post on social media July 17, two days after Loe\u2019s passing, calling her \u201cthe compass of my life ,the love of my life, my dearest friend.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t want to post this. I am only posting this because I have had to register my mother\u2018s death certificate and it will soon become public record. She died the night of July 15th\u00a0 in my arms after immeasurable suffering,\u201d the British actress wrote of Loe, who had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer<\/a>.<\/p>\n\u201cI have not picked all the best photos, nor the best videos, because I cannot bear to go through my camera roll yet. I deeply apologise to any of her friends who are finding out this way or through the press, but I cannot go through her phone . I am paralysed,\u201d she continued in the caption of the post, which contained several images of her with Loe.<\/p>\n
Days before Loe\u2019s death, Beckinsale shared a video of herself singing to her mother in the hospital<\/a>, which she said was a nod to the harmony group her mother was a member of as a teenager.<\/p>\nBeckinsale was the only child of Loe and Richard Beckinsale, who were both actors as well. Loe got her start in a 1970 production of the musical Hair, and went on to appear in films like Monty Python\u2019s the Meaning of Life.<\/p>\n
Richard Beckinsale, who starred in the British soap Coronation Street as well as the BBC’s sitcom Porridge, died in 1979 at age 31. His daughter has paid tribute to him through the years as well.<\/p>\n
