The singer\u2019s girlfriend, Suze Rotolo, is on a prolonged trip to Italy and he\u2019s \u201cfeeling more than kind of blue,\u201d Wilentz said. \u201cAnd he talks about it to the tape. \u2018I\u2019ve written a song. Well, only the last verse. And now we\u2019re going to sing it.\u2019 He says, \u2018It\u2019s not in my style. This is Pete Seeger style. Do you know who Pete Seeger is? He\u2019s Mike Seeger\u2019s older brother.\u2019 Then he starts singing the song and it\u2019s an early version of \u2018Tomorrow Is a Long Time.\u2019 That\u2019s an amazing moment. The one that\u2019s going to get the most attention is \u2018Liverpool Gal,\u2019 which is a song Dylan wrote about his time in London. That winter of \u201862-\u201863. No one\u2019s heard it. It\u2019s been talked about. It\u2019s not a No. 1 Dylan but it\u2019s a very good song.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cHe points out what that song is all about. The banter is very interesting, though not as interesting as the song. At one point, he and Glover start jamming. They do a song called \u2018West Memphis.\u2019 They were making it up as they go along. To hear Bob Dylan and Tony Glover do a duet, that was precious. It\u2019s a couple of guys sitting around having fun. It\u2019s not a performance for the ages.
