Ariana Grande<\/strong>‘s album <\/span>Positions c<\/span><\/em>ame out exactly five years ago Thursday — Oct. 30, 2020 — and in honor of the anniversary, her <\/span>live<\/span> Positions<\/span><\/em> EP<\/span><\/a> is being re-released.<\/span><\/p>\n

Positions (Vevo Official Live Performances)<\/span><\/em> included tracks from Ari’s 2021 Vevo Live Performances of “<\/span>pov<\/a>,\u201d \u201cpositions<\/a>,\u201d \u201csafety net (feat. Ty Dolla $ign)<\/a>,\u201d \u201cmy hair<\/a>,\u201d \u201c34+35<\/a>\u201d and \u201coff the table (feat. The Weeknd)<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vevo’s SVP of Content, Programming & Marketing, JP Evangelista<\/strong>, says in a statement, “This EP is a testament to the staying power of Ariana\u2019s music, artistic vision and impact on the industry as a whole.”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a whole range of Positions<\/em> merch<\/a> is now available for pre-order on Ari’s online store, including a 2-LP vinyl deluxe fifth anniversary edition<\/a> pressed on periwinkle vinyl. It includes all 19 tracks from the deluxe edition of the album, plus a poster and sticker sheet.<\/p>\n

There will also\u00a0be a Positions<\/em> streaming party Thursday night at 5 p.m. ET on Stationhead.<\/p>\n

When Positions<\/em> was released, it debuted at #1; the title track also debuted at #1. The album spun off the single “34+35,” which peaked at #2.<\/p>\n

In other Ariana Grande news, there’s a new eight-episode podcast<\/a> devoted to her new movie Wicked: For Good,<\/em> hosted by a Vanity Fair<\/em> writer. In the podcast Ariana says,<\/em> “It feels really special to finally be able to share [the movie] with the world … we’ve had so many secrets for such a long time.” But commenting on her Wicked<\/em> journey finally coming to a close, she notes, “It’s about damn time.”<\/p>\n
