Being the gentleman he is, he didn\u2019t want to interfere, however with some friendly encouragement he stepped in and was welcomed by all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The groom told the New Zealand outlet that he\u2019s been a fan of \u201cThe Lord of the Rings\u201d since childhood, and included references to the fantasy franchise in his wedding vows.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The couple are from Rotorua, New Zealand. We all loved it,\u201d said Ullyett.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, Dominic Monaghan, who co-starred as Frodo\u2019s friend and fellow Hobbit, Merry, said that people \u201close their marbles\u201d whenever he, Wood, Sean Astin, and Billy Boyd attend conventions together.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would be the same,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/07\/14\/lord-of-the-rings-star-dominic-monaghan-dishes-on-his-new-show-moonhaven\/\">he told The Post.<\/a> \u201cIf I saw Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, C-3PO and Chewbacca having dinner, I would be geeking out, too.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think those movies are kind of timeless,\u201d he added. \u201cMultiple times a day, people will tell me they just finished watching those films, and how much it moved them, or how important it was to their family.
