Bad Bunny\u2019s shoe game<\/a> just got even better. The Puerto Rican singer<\/a>, who\u2019s had a longstanding partnership with Adidas, has collaborated with the athletic wear brand on more than 115 sneaker designs<\/a> over the years\u2014of which only over a dozen have been released\u2014but yesterday, he stepped out in his first-ever signature sneaker, the Adidas BadBo 1.0, set to hit the shelves very soon.<\/p>\n

The shoe in question is a chunky powder-brown suede sneakers with white leather accents. The \u201cNUEVAYoL\u201d singer<\/a>\u2014real name Benito Antonio Mart\u00ednez Ocasio\u2014debuted his shoe in Miami, and wore it with a boxy light-gray hoodie that featured Adidas\u2019s signature three stripes in white running down the arms. For bottoms, he slipped on some matching baggy sweatpants.<\/p>\n

Bunny was pictured in the Florida city with soccer legend Lionel Messi. The two are set to star in an Adidas ad ahead of the World Cup.<\/p>\n

Messi looked cool in a black athleisure set\u2014composed of a striped bomber jacket and cargo shorts\u2014from an unreleased Messi x Kith Adidas collection. He styled the co-ord with a classic white T-shirt and white Adidas Sambas, each with blue stripes, yellow laces, and a red accent on the back.<\/p>\n

Messi\u2019s nostalgic set offers a fresh take on the old-school aesthetic currently trending with soccer-inspired street style. Thomas Mace, the vice president of design at Adidas Football, tells Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/em> that while soccer has been shaping style and culture across Europe for decades, the sport\u2019s influence in fashion across the world has risen over the last couple of years. Just look at Rosal\u00eda\u2019s soccer cleat heels<\/a>, Rihanna\u2019s sports jerseys<\/a> (which she often styles with layers of diamonds<\/a>), and Zo\u00eb Kravitz\u2019s athletic shorts<\/a> worn with peep-toe heels.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been blowing up,\u201d Mace says, \u201cand I would argue it comes a little bit from Adidas, because we\u2019ve got a rich and diverse history when it comes to football culture.\u201d The \u201cbring-backs,\u201d or modern renditions of vintage staples\u2014including team anniversary jerseys\u2014are especially appealing to young consumers, he notes. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
