Raven-Symon\u00e9<\/strong><\/a> is putting pen to paper to share her life story \u2014 her way.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m writing a book. It\u2019s a memoir,\u201d Symon\u00e9, 39, teased during her Thursday, October 30, appearance on the \u201cSorry We\u2019re Cyrus\u201d podcast<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m writing a book, but I can\u2019t give you everything. The s*** that we went through?\u201d<\/p>\n

Podcast host Tish Cyrus<\/strong> subsequently asked whether the former Disney Channel star planned to \u201cdish on\u201d<\/a> her entire childhood fame and beyond.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs best I can without getting sued,\u201d Symon\u00e9 quipped. \u201cYou know what I mean? And some people now are even talking about the choices that happened back then, but I can\u2019t judge them because that was the climate in which we lived. \u2026 Every single generation, it does get better, [and] hopefully with our work and our consistency of advocating for each other, things can move forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

Symon\u00e9 started acting when she was 3 years old, landing the role of Olivia<\/a> on The Cosby Show<\/i>. As the actress entered her teenage years, she headlined an eponymous series on the Disney Channel and multiple made-for-TV movies for the network.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t feel safe [to talk about challenges],\u201d Symon\u00e9 recalled. \u201cI felt even different from Miley [Cyrus, Tish\u2019s daughter] and the other kids because I had already been on two shows. I had already been on NBC and WB and, like, I knew what sitcoms were and knew what celebrity was.\u201d<\/p>\n

Decades after That\u2019s So Raven<\/i> ended, Symon\u00e9 returned to the Mouse House for a Raven\u2019s Home <\/i>spinoff<\/a> that ran for six seasons. While playing the onscreen parent, Symon\u00e9 also made sure to mentor her young costars between takes.<\/p>\n

\u201c[I was] able to help mold the next generation,\u201d she recalled. \u201cI\u2019m really proud of the people that came on our show, [who] are succeeding in life and work. I will forever stand by Issac Ryan Brown, Mykal-Michelle Harris, Felix [Avitia], Navia Robinson<\/strong> [and] all the people that graced our studio.\u201d<\/p>\n
