If Ashley Padilla has anything to say about it, Brandi Carlile<\/a> will host this weekend\u2019s Saturday Night Live<\/em> instead of Miles Teller.<\/p>\n In just-released promos for this weekend\u2019s episode, Padilla brings up her brand-new haircut \u2014 and she explodes on Teller for not noticing. \u201cI got a haircut, and you haven\u2019t said anything about it!\u201d Padilla yells at the Top Gun: Maverick<\/em> actor. \u201cYeah, sorry, I think I didn\u2019t notice, Ashley, because we\u2019ve never met before,\u201d Teller responds.<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n But guess who did notice? Eleven-time Grammy-winning singer\/songwriter Brandi Carlile. \u201cI noticed. The second I saw you, I knew you had that new-haircut glow,\u201d Carlile says. \u201cThank you, Brandi Carlile! You\u2019re the host now,\u201d Padilla says matter-of-factly, to which Carlile celebrates with a \u201cYesssss<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s joking, right?\u201d Teller asks. But Dismukes assures the actor she\u2019s dead serious. \u201cI hope you can sing,\u201d she threatens, and Teller gives a shrug: \u201cI can sing.\u201d (We know that at least Keith Urban agrees<\/a>: Back in 2016, the country star invited Teller onstage to duet on The Temptations\u2019 \u201cMy Girl\u201d during an Albuquerque, New Mexico, concert.)<\/p>\n Watch all the new promos below:<\/p>\n Saturday\u2019s episode will mark Carlile\u2019s fourth time as a musical guest on SNL<\/em> \u2014 and her second time this year. She joined Elton John on the stage back in April to perform songs from their joint album Who Believes in Angels?<\/em> This time around, she\u2019s promoting her just-released solo album Returning to Myself<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n This will be Teller\u2019s second hosting gig after he made his debut in 2022. He\u2019s hitting the show ahead of the premiere of his sci-fi rom-com Eternity<\/em>, co-starring Elizabeth Olsen and Callum Turner, which arrives Nov. 26 in theaters.<\/p>\n Saturday Night Live<\/em>\u00a0airs at 11:30 p.m. ET\/8:30 p.m. PT on NBC and streams on Peacock.
