Tom Daley<\/a> has said he tried to convince The <\/em>Celebrity Traitors<\/em><\/a> producers to bring him back as a resurrected player<\/a> \u2013 but they said no.<\/p>\n

The Olympic gold medallist, 31, appeared as a Faithful contestant on the programme but was \u201cmurdered\u201d by Traitors Jonathan Ross, Cat Burns and Alan Carr<\/a> during episode three.<\/p>\n

Daley has said he asked the producers to bring back the first four players eliminated by the Traitors<\/a>, but they weren\u2019t on board.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think what they should have considered is a resurrection. Bringing someone back from the dead after, like, the first four murders,\u201d he told The Guardian<\/em><\/a>, adding: \u201cThey said no.\u201d<\/p>\n

The athlete admitted he was frustrated that he wasn\u2019t picked as a Traitor because he lacked control over the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cAround that first round table, you\u2019re either waiting to be touched or not wanting to be touched. It\u2019s really intense,\u201d he said. \u201cWhen I wasn\u2019t a traitor, I was annoyed. You can think, \u2018Just play the game and have fun and see where we get.\u2019 But as an athlete, I like to be in control.\u201d<\/p>\n

Daley revealed earlier this week that he was banned from wearing pieces from his own knitwear brand<\/a>, Made With Love by Tom Daley, while on Celebrity Traitors<\/em> due to rules around self-promotion.<\/p>\n

Daley, a keen knitter and crocheter, told Radio Times<\/em> that he was constantly knitting when they weren\u2019t filming scenes for the show.<\/p>\n
