HICKORY RIDGE \u2014 Tomorrow will be a big day in the city of Hickory Ridge.<\/p>\n

The 2025 Hickory Fest begins at 10 a.m. tomorrow with the opening ceremonies.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis Saturday at 10 a.m. is when we\u2019re going to kick it off. It\u2019s going to be at the Hickory Ridge City Park. The address is 283 Front Street. If you go down Highway 49, you can\u2019t miss it. You\u2019ll see us on the left right across the tracks,\u201d said Tonya Smith, a member of the Hickory Fest Committee. \u201cIt will be a full day of fun. We\u2019ll end about 7:30 p.m. We\u2019re ending it this year a little bit earlier than we normally have.\u201d<\/p>\n

A variety of other activities including bouncy houses, a kids\u2019 train, laser tag, a NERF gun party, and a gaming truck will also open about 10 a.m. Saturday. There will also be events all day long on the main stage.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is our main event. We host several events throughout the year. We\u2019ll have a Christmas event. We did the Easter event. We do several things, but this is our main one,\u201d Smith said. \u201cThere\u2019s no parking fee. There\u2019s no fee to sit and listen to the entertainment. There\u2019s bouncy houses. There\u2019s wrestling. There\u2019s all these things that\u2019s free. Just to come spend the day and fellowship with everybody in the community.\u201d<\/p>\n
