Some cast members from the original Hocus Pocus<\/strong>film are set to reunite in 2026.<\/p>\n Thora Birch (Dani Dennison), Vinessa Shaw (Allison), Omri Katz (Max Dennison), Larry Bagby (Ice) and Tobias Jelinek (Jay) along with director Kenny Ortega will be on-hand at 90s Con, which will be held on March 13\u201315, 2026, at the Connecticut Convention Center, according to People<\/a>.<\/p>\n The appearance will take place 33 years after the iconic Halloween film, which also starred Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy, was released.<\/p>\n When the film first hit theaters, it was considered a flop. The main reason? It was a Halloween movie that was released in July, per SlashFilm<\/a>. Over the years, the movie has become a fan-favorite and a must-see for families each year around Oct. 31.<\/p>\n Hocus Pocus’ popularity called for a sequel, which many fans had been begging for. In Sept. 2022, Hocus Pocus 2 was released. The film reunited Midler, Parker and Najimy, but the rest of the OG cast were not asked to reprise their roles because the storyline wouldn’t have fit.<\/p>\n “We wanted to weave in all of the people that the fans loved, and when you sat back with all the ingredients and story, you’re like, how do we make this work?” director Anne Fletcher told Entertainment Weekly<\/a>. “It was very difficult to try to have them be a part of it, because we did talk about it \u2014 painstakingly. You’re trying to stay on track with story, even if they came in as a cameo. People would say, ‘They could be in the background!’ and I’m like, really? You’re going to put the leads of the first movie in the background and be satisfied? You’re not going to be satisfied, you’re going to be angry.”<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Disney is moving forward with a third installment of Hocus Pocus, per People<\/a>.<\/p>\n As far as 90s Con goes, tickets range in price from a VIP option at $324.25 to a daily pass for much less. Fans who attend will be able to mix and mingle with some of their favorite 90s stars.
