Actor Jesse Eisenberg will be donating one of his kidneys to a stranger, the movie star announced on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Eisenberg announced his intention to donate one of his kidneys on NBC\u2019s \u201cToday<\/a>\u201d, where he was praised by co-host Craig Melvin for being a fan of blood drives.<\/p>\n \u201cYeah that\u2019s true,\u201d Eisenberg said.<\/a> \u201cI\u2019m actually donating my kidney in six weeks. I really am… I\u2019m so excited to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n The actor, who is known for his portrayal of Mark Zuckerberg in \u201cThe Social Network<\/a>\u201a\u201d said in a separate interview on TODAY.com<\/a> it\u2019s a \u201cno brainer\u201d to donate his kidney.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s essentially risk-free and so needed,\u201d Eisenberg said. \u201cI think people will realize that it\u2019s a no-brainer, if you have the time and the inclination.\u201d<\/p>\n The 42-year-old is starring in \u201cNow You See Me: Now You Don\u2019t,\u201d the third film in the \u201cNow You See Me\u201d series.
