David Harbour<\/strong><\/a> appears to have love on the brain, at least hopefully, following his separation from Lily Allen<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n While discussing his next chapter with Esquire UK, <\/i><\/a>Harbour, 50, predicted that his next 50 years \u201cwill be full of more stories that are complex and rich.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s really going to be the focus for me,\u201d he told the outlet in a Saturday, November 1, profile. \u201cThen, of course, there\u2019s personal stuff that I want to do, and people that I want to love, and be good to and nurture, things like that.\u201d<\/p>\n Harbour has been single since late last year when he and Allen, 40, quietly separated<\/a> after four years of marriage. Now, the Stranger Things <\/i>star is contemplating what \u2014 if anything \u2014 he would do differently in life.<\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s such a hard question \u2014 the question of regret, or something. I would change either everything or nothing,\u201d Harbour said \u201cYou either accept your path completely and realize that even the pain and the slip-ups and the mistakes are all part of the journey, and that there\u2019s truth and growth, wisdom and deeper empathy and connection in all that. It\u2019s kind of like a house of cards, the minute you try to change one thing you kind of have to change it all.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued, \u201c[As an artist] it\u2019s about incorporating your life into something that you can give to other people so that they can have a cathartic response to their lives. If you\u2019ve never been through anything, what do you really have to offer? If I were to change anything I\u2019d change everything, and just make my life happy and silly and like, whatever, and then I wouldn\u2019t be an artist anymore. And that would suck.\u201d<\/p>\n While the actor has declined to discuss the downfall of his relationship publicly, 40-year-old Allen seemingly laid it all out<\/a> in her new album, West End Girl<\/i>.<\/p>\n \u201cIntimacy is inherently messy. There are usually agreed-upon boundaries in relationships, but whether those boundaries are adhered to or not is becoming a grey area all of a sudden,\u201d Allen told The Times of London <\/i><\/a>last month, detailing her musical inspiration. \u201cDating apps make people disposable and that leads to the idea that if you are not happy, there\u2019s so much more to choose from right in your pocket.\u201d<\/p>\n
