Jenn Tran<\/a> is entering a new era of her life, and there are no roses or dance numbers involved.<\/p>\n The Bachelorette and Dancing with the Stars alum<\/a> is currently finishing up the final year of physician assistant school in Miami, Florida<\/a>, after taking a short break for her stint making history as the first Asian American lead on The Bachelorette<\/a>.<\/p>\n Tran is honing in on her love of science in this next chapter while focusing on clinical rotations, working with patients, and writing research papers.<\/p>\n In an exclusive interview with The Daily Express US, Tran shared her fall skincare favorites and what the future holds for her.<\/p>\n Tran studied molecular biology at UW-Madison before starting her PA program, and she says she started developing a good skincare routine after college.<\/p>\n She says that when studying molecular biology, she learned about the chemicals and ingredients in different products and how they benefit your skin.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI’ve always just kind of had a passion in knowing exactly why I’m putting something onto my skin,\u201d Tran says.<\/p>\n With so many skincare products on the market, Tran says she buys products after reviewing the ingredients and determining if the product will actually benefit her skin.<\/p>\n \u201cIt all comes back to just doing your research and really figuring out, why am I putting this on my skin? Why am I drinking water? Why am I doing these things?\u201d Tran explains.<\/p>\n Besides loving skincare in her daily routine, it circles back to her career goals and passions. She wrote a research paper for her program on combating skin damage from the sun, and Tran says she hopes to specialize in dermatology.<\/p>\n \u201cI am just kind of excited to incorporate the best of both worlds: my passion for skincare, and also just working in medicine as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Tran focuses her skincare routine on moisturizers and serums that are hydrating as we head into the fall and colder temperatures.<\/p>\n \u201cHyaluronic acid is the best product for bringing more moisture into your skin,\u201d Tran shares, \u201cWhen you’re going into those colder climates, and as we transition into fall, the cold weather, it’s harsh on your skin.\u201d<\/p>\n She loves using L’Or\u00e9al\u2019s hyaluronic acid serum and says she can see the difference in her skin immediately after applying.<\/p>\n Another favorite for the fall is Murad\u2019s Retinal ReSculpt Overnight Treatment. \u201cIt’s definitely a thicker cream for the nighttime, and I’ve been loving it,\u201d Tran says, mentioning that she enjoys slugging her face with moisturizing products at bedtime.<\/p>\n Next up in her skincare routine are the Biodance Collagen Gel Toner Pads, saying \u201cthey’re insane\u201d because \u201cthey’re drenched in collagen and hyaluronic acid,\u201d leaving her with glowing skin every time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n You might be wondering if Tran will come out with a skincare line of her own, but Tran says there\u2019s nothing in the works right now. She is focusing on finishing school while balancing social media for now.<\/p>\n \u201cI just feel like there are so many skincare lines. Do I really want to contribute to the overproduction?\u201d Tran says. \u201cMaybe. I don’t know. It could be fun.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think if I ever came across some newer research that I felt like there was something really missing in the market, I would love to collab with a skincare line or create something of my own,\u201d Tran shares.
