In a recent appearance on the Smart Girl Dumb Questions podcast, American DJ and music producer Diplo claimed to have dated both Trudeau and Perry.<\/p>\n Diplo alleges that he has dated both Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau in the past.<\/strong> In an interview with the Smart Girl Dumb Questions podcast, the host and he were discussing his experience with Canada. At one point, the conversation veered toward ex-Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau and his current rumored girlfriend, Katy Perry.<\/p>\n The American DJ revealed, \u201cAnd now Katy Perry is dating Justin Trudeau.\u201d The host responded excitedly, \u201cI know. Pretty fire. I know some people who like kind of.\u201d Before the host could complete the sentence, Diplo interjected, stating, \u201cDated Katy Perry like me.\u201d<\/p>\n The host picked up on the cue and asked <\/a>the 46-year-old curiously, \u201cOh, did you date Katy Perry? I meant Trudeau.\u201d Diplo confessed, \u201cOh, I did date Trudeau, too. That was a weird one though.\u201d When the host asked why, Diplo remarked, \u201cI\u2019m not in the positions.\u201d<\/p>\n Notably, a fan asked in the comment section if Trudeau really dated Diplo.
