The devil, of course, will be in the detail of this \u2013 the big question is whether artists will be fairly compensated for the privilege of having their music scraped.<\/p>\n<p>For the moment, the current Udio platform is still online and will be available to use throughout the transition period, though with some amendments &#8211; including fingerprinting, filtering, and other measures &#8211; before the new service launches in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, UMG seemed pleased with the outcome.
