\u00a33million above the asking price.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">One of the most controversial aspects of Andrew&#8217;s final fall from grace will be the potential payout he could <a target=\"_blank\" style=\"font-weight: bold;\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/galleries\/article-15234401\/Opinion-King-house-non-working-royals-whove-brought-shame.html\">receive for leaving Royal Lodge<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The King&#8217;s brother acquired the lease from the Crown Estate in 2003 and paid \u00a31million for the 75-year tenancy plus \u00a37.5million for repairs and refurbishments, which was deemed the equivalent of paying for his lease &#8216;upfront&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Under the terms of the deal, if he left within the first 25 years &#8211;
