Tom Bergeron<\/strong> has been posting a lot of memories from his days as the host of Dancing With the Stars. The beloved TV host, who helmed the ABC celebrity ballroom reception from 2005 to 2019, spent a few years after his departure not saying the show\u2019s name. (Footwork With the Famous<\/a>, anyone?) But in recent months, he\u2018s not only talking about Dancing with the Stars, he\u2019s also celebrating it.<\/p>\n Bergeron\u2019s Instagram page<\/a> is filled with nostalgic posts tagged with @dancingwiththestars and #20thanniversary. Most recently, he posted his favorite Halloween moments from DWTS, but he also posted the Season 34 ratings along with kudos<\/a> to showrunner Conrad Green<\/strong> for the \u201crevitalization\u201d of the show.<\/p>\n Bergeron has long said he has no interest in returning to DWTS, but the turnaround in his Instagram activity has fans wondering if he\u2019s set to make a cameo for the show\u2019s 20th Anniversary\/Birthday Party episode,<\/a> which will air on Nov. 11.<\/p>\n In a thread on the r\/dancingwiththestars subreddit<\/a>, one fan wrote, \u00a0\u201cAnyone else desperately hoping that Tom will somehow be involved in next week’s episode, whether as a guest judge or just make an appearance or whatnot for the 20th Anniversary Special?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI feel like he\u2019ll be a guest judge,\u201d one fan wrote.<\/p>\n \u201cI think he’ll be involved for sure. Probably a guest judge,\u201d another agreed.<\/p>\n \u201cHim as a guest judge makes more sense than having Gene Simmons<\/strong>. You’d think that after hosting the show for over 10 years he’d pick up on some of the ballroom Latin rules,\u201d another Reddit user wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n One thing is for sure: Bergeron won\u2019t fill in for current DWTS\u00a0host Alfonso Ribeiro<\/strong>.<\/p>\n When a commenter on Instagram told Bergeron fans were hoping to see him \u201cdo a little hosting during the DWTS Birthday special,\u201d Bergeron replied<\/a>, \u201cYou won’t see me hosting, but, as I’ll likely be traveling, you’ll at least see a video message from me.\u201d<\/p>\n Fans still think there will be more than a video message from Bergeron, based on his comments last summer.
