Singer Perry Farrell took to the stage last week as part of a tribute show to the classic rock band The Doors, his first public performance since an onstage fight last year led to the breakup of Jane\u2019s Addiction.<\/p>\n
According to mxdwn.com<\/a>, Farrell sang Doors classics \u201cTouch Me,\u201d \u201cRoadhouse Blues\u201d and \u201cWaiting for the Sun.\u201d Former Doors guitarist Robby Krieger performed with Farrell.<\/p>\n Last year, Farrell got into a fight with Jane\u2019s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro during a performance. Footage of the fight<\/a> showed Farrell giving a shoulder bump to Navarro before he begins yelling at the guitarist, pushing him and throwing a punch. Farrell later apologized for his outburst<\/a>, saying that he had reached a \u201cbreaking point\u201d that resulted in \u201cinexcusable behavior.<\/p>\n It did little to resolve the situation as the band and Farrell filed lawsuits<\/a> against each other.<\/p>\n Formed in 1985, Jane\u2019s Addiction is one of the most successful punk bands ever, with standout hits \u201cJane Says\u201d and \u201cBeen Caught Stealing.\u201d The band has broken up and reformed several times.<\/p>\n
