Almost a month after her shocking elimination from Dancing with the Stars<\/strong> and the viral reaction to the same, Lauren Jauregui<\/strong> has finally opened up about the moment and what was going through her head after the shock elimination.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s what Jaregui said.<\/p>\n On September 30, 2025, an episode of DWTS Season 34<\/a>, Lauren Jauregui was unexpectedly eliminated from the competition. She finished in twelfth place in the third week of the show. At the time, she summed up how she felt with a one-word response, \u201cpissed,\u201d when asked about her exit.<\/p>\n Almost a month later, the 29-year-old singer-songwriter reflected on her elimination. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of pressure that happens when you\u2019re in front of millions of people and feeling something really vulnerable and then have a mic shoved into your face and asked how you feel,\u201d she told PEOPLE recently<\/a>, And if I\u2019m thinking it, I\u2019m going to say it.\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cIn my mind I was like, \u2018Oh my God, I\u2019m so upset. I\u2019m so sad. This isn\u2019t supposed to happen.\u2019 [That] was just what my brain was telling me, and then the only word that came out of my mouth was \u2018pissed,\u2019 which is an interesting one.\u201d<\/p>\n On the show, Jauregui partnered with Brandon Armstrong and delivered three lively performances. This also marked the first time fans saw her dance without singing. \u201cI was able to give my 110% to just the dancing. That was really fun to do, honestly. Even though I was a little nervous sometimes, it was really fun to get out of my comfort zone,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n \u201cDance is my first love,\u201d she added, further explaining her reaction of shock and despair.
