Netflix just landed rights to the family film, which has been in development since 2020. Though the logline hasn\u2019t been revealed, the streaming giant has described the movie as a \u201cwholly original adventure\u201d based on the book series written by Kay Thompson<\/a> and illustrated by Hilary Knight<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Amy Sherman-Palladino<\/a>, best known for \u201cGilmore Girls<\/a>\u201d and \u201cThe Marvelous Mrs. Maisel<\/a>,\u201d is directing and writing the \u201cEloise<\/a>\u201d film, with Hannah Marks<\/a> and Linda Woolverton<\/a> co-writing the screenplay.<\/p>\n
