Duff, 37, announced on Tuesday, September 9, that she has signed with Atlantic Records for her \u201chighly anticipated return to music.\u201d She also has a docuseries in the works that will follow her \u201clong-awaited musical return and personal [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The docuseries doesn\u2019t have a release date yet but will be directed by Sam Wrench<\/strong>, who previously helmed Taylor Swift<\/strong>\u2019s Eras Tour<\/em> film and Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong>\u2019s Netflix holiday special, A Nonsense Christmas<\/em>.<\/p>\nWhile Duff has remained active as an actress for the past decade, her most recent album \u2014 the widely slept-on Breathe In. Breathe Out.<\/em> \u2014 dropped in June 2015. She has occasionally teased a return to music since then, but she said in December 2023 that raising a family has made it harder to get back in the studio. (The Lizzie McGuire<\/em> star shares daughters Banks, 7, Mae, 4, and Townes, 18 months, with husband Matthew Koma<\/strong>, whom she wed in 2019<\/a>.
