She was a great value as a decades-long board member of SAG, giving a real actress\u2019 point of view.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Earlier in the day, Laura confirmed in a statement to <i>The Hollywood Reporter<\/i> that Ladd <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrity-news\/news\/diane-ladd-dead-laura-derns-mother-and-alice-actress-was-89\/\"><span class=\"s1\">had died<\/span><\/a> at her home in Ojai, California. She was 89.
