Blue Pongtiwat.<\/p>\n Photos: Courtesy of Swarovski<\/p>\n Held at the legendary Amoeba Music on Sunset Boulevard, the exhibition was the latest\u2014and arguably most cinematic\u2014chapter in the brand\u2019s travelling showcase of legacy and glamour. It also marked the kickoff of Swarovski\u2019s 130th anniversary celebrations, which, to absolutely no one\u2019s surprise, involved famous faces, fabulous fashion and a whole lot of sparkle.<\/p>\n Related article: <\/i><\/b>All The Must-Know Celebrity Campaigns Of 2025<\/i><\/b><\/a><\/p>\n The launch party on an unseasonably warm Monday evening set the tone, drawing a celebrity crowd that was even hotter than the meteorological report. Guests ranged from living legend Cher<\/b> to Oscar-winning actress Viola Davis<\/b>, <\/b>to Thai actor and friend of the House, Blue Pongtiwat<\/b>, to mother-and-daughter pair Lisa Rinna<\/b> and Amelia Gray<\/b><\/a>. <\/p>\n From left: Burlesque icon Dita Von Teese. Kylie Jenner.<\/p>\n Photos: Courtesy of Swarovski<\/p>\n Guests swanned through immersive chambers filled with Met Gala crystal fantasies, archival stagewear, and era-defining film costumes\u2014including the pi\u00e8ce de r\u00e9sistance: Marilyn Monroe<\/b>\u2019s original \u201cHappy Birthday, Mr. President\u201d gown, designed by Jean Louis<\/b>. Still encrusted with 2,500 Swarovski crystals, the dress glowed in its glass case like a relic of pop cultural mythology. Which, let\u2019s be honest, it kind of is.<\/p>\n And that\u2019s the thing about Swarovski. For decades, it\u2019s played the ultimate supporting role in fashion, cinema and celebrity\u2014always present, always essential, but rarely the star of the show. Think the shimmer of Satine\u2019s corset in Moulin Rouge<\/i>, the full-body dazzle of Cher\u2019s Bob Mackie<\/b> disco gowns, or the thousands of glittering crystals stitched into Beyonc\u00e9<\/b>\u2019s tour outfits. As CEO Alexis Nasard<\/b> put it at the press preview, \u201cWe don\u2019t solve geopolitics or health, but we have the duty and the ability to bring small moments of joy. And what is happiness, if not that?\u201d<\/p>\n One of the key highlights in the exhibition is a soaring room that pays tribute to iconic outfits within pop culture\u2019s history, with pieces worn by Tina Turner, Josephine Baker and Lady Gaga. <\/p>\n Photo: Courtesy of Swarovski<\/p>\n But with \u201cMasters of Light \u2013 Hollywood\u201d, Swarovski isn\u2019t just reflecting the spotlight. Instead, the House is finally stepping into it, and celebrating its well-deserved flowers.<\/p>\n \u201cThis exhibition is a way of honouring our role in cultural history, not just as an accessory, but as a protagonist,\u201d said Nasard. \u201cHollywood is a centrefold of cinema and music. It represents our past, our present, and our future.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
