Online<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Eva Mendes<\/a> is not moving to a place beyond the Atlantic Ocean. <\/span><\/p>\n After a report<\/a> suggested she and longtime partner <\/span>Ryan Gosling<\/a> \u2014 who share daughters <\/span>Esmeralda, 11, and <\/span>Amada, 9 \u2014 had left the U.S. and moved to England, the “Hitch” star firmly set the record straight.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWRONG again @celebrity.land,\u201d Eva wrote on <\/span>Instagram<\/span><\/a> Stories Nov. 3 over a screenshot from the article. \u201cAlthough I love my time in London, I can’t wait to get back home and celebrate the @dodgers World Series championship!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The 51-year-old added, \u201cGo Dodgers!!!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Rumors first began to swirl in October that the couple had moved to London, with Daily Mail suggesting<\/span> <\/span><\/em>they had purchased a home in the Hampstead neighborhood of North London and that their daughters were in school in the U.K. capital.<\/span><\/p>\n And while Mendes confirmed leaving Los Angeles is completely untrue, she has been candid about her decision to <\/span>say goodbye to Hollywood and the film industry<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n READ<\/b> Eva Mendes Shares Why She\u2019s \u201cExtra Proud\u201d of Ryan Gosling in Rare Shoutout<\/a><\/p>\n “I was never in love with acting,\u201d she admitted to <\/span>The Times<\/span><\/a> in October. “I don’t mean this in a self-deprecating way, but I wasn’t a great actress. I had my moments when I worked with really great people.”<\/span><\/p>\n According to the “Ghost Rider” actress, she also found that being Cuban-American meant she was often typecast as one-dimensional characters, with many thinking she wasn\u2019t suitable for something more interesting. <\/span><\/p>\n “There were some pretty s—– roles,” she recalled. “That’s all they would say at the beginning \u2014 ‘she’s too ethnic for this, too ethnic for that.’ It was so crazy. That was the constant note.”<\/span><\/p>\n And overall, Mendes found that the lifestyle in Hollywood wasn\u2019t what worked best for her.<\/span><\/p>\n “I feel like with my kind of spirit I’d have found unhealthy behaviors anywhere,” she explained. “I was so hungry for life. I still am. But I was leaving no stone unturned. I was like, ‘What’s over here?
