But, after reading the way folks were reacting to this movie about the dangers of online dating, I obviously had to watch it. Now I wish I hadn\u2019t. After reading that basic synopsis and comments from people who watched before me, I had a feeling things would get dark, disgusting, and distressing. I was right about all three.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">From Paola stepping on a mousetrap and peeling off her toenails while trying to escape a house of horrors to a grotesque monster getting a certain body part stuck in a similar trap later on, this movie <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/best-body-horror-movies-watch-200454401.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:doesn\u2019t shy away from body horror;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">doesn\u2019t shy away from body horror<\/a>. Without giving too much away (or getting CinemaBlend shut down), there\u2019s a scene where the mother (played by Dianne Simpson) takes things way too far with one of her sons, to the point where I said \u201cNope,\u201d pressed pause, and returned a few hours later.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">I don\u2019t like using the word \u201cIck,\u201d but it\u2019s the best way to describe the relationship between mother and son in this truly unsettling movie. Lucille would be high up on the list of <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cinemablend.com\/new\/10-Worst-Horror-Movie-Moms-Ranked-By-Awfulness-71362.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:worst horror movie moms of all time;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">worst horror movie moms of all time<\/a>. The body horror, the psychological horror, the damp and musty feel of the house, all of it was so unsettling. Without giving too much away (or getting CinemaBlend shut down), there\u2019s a scene where the mother (played by Dianne Simpson) takes things way too far with one of her sons, to the point where I said \u201cNope,\u201d pressed pause, and returned a few hours later.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">I don\u2019t like using the word \u201cIck,\u201d but it\u2019s the best way to describe the relationship between mother and son in this truly unsettling movie. The body horror, the psychological horror, the damp and musty feel of the house, all of it was so unsettling.
