The uproar around Patel\u2019s use of the jet grew to such a point that he issued a statement on X.<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n After writing that he was proud of the work that the FBI was doing, he got into the controversy about his trip \u2026 sort of. <\/p>\n \u201cLet me be clear: we will not be distracted by baseless rumors or the noise from uniformed internet anarchists and the fake news,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI\u2019ve always said \u2014 criticize me all you want. But going after the people doing great work, my personal life, or those around me is a total disgrace. <\/p>\n \u201cThe disgustingly baseless attacks against Elexis \u2014 a true patriot and the woman I\u2019m proud to call my partner in life \u2014 are beyond pathetic,\u201d he added. \u201cShe is a rock-solid conservative and a country music sensation who has done more for this nation than most will in ten lifetimes. I\u2019m so blessed she\u2019s in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n Patel then claimed that \u201cattacking her isn\u2019t just wrong \u2014 it\u2019s cowardly and jeopardizes our safety.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cMy love of family will always be my cornerstone, and you will never tear that down or keep me from them,\u201d he continued. \u201cI and this FBI will stay laser-focused on our mission and continue the reform we promised \u2014 rebuilding this Bureau from the ground up. And to our supposed allies staying silent \u2014 your silence is louder than the clickbait haters.\u201d<\/p>\n Patel\u2019s post received a community note on X that read, \u201cPeople are largely not attack Kash Patel\u2019s significant other, but rather reacting to his firing of people who point out his usage of government funds to travel to her shows.\u201d<\/p>\n Whatever the case, Wilkins\u2019 name might not be one that is familiar to many country music fans despite Patel\u2019s claims that she is a \u201csensation.\u201d She hasn\u2019t quite hit star status yet, but she is also just 26 years old. <\/p>\n Taste of Country reported<\/b><\/a> <\/b>the two have been dating since 2023. The site said they first met at a ReAwaken America event.
