The film marks the feature directorial debut of Irish writer\/director Steve Kenny<\/a> and has been boarded by Bankside Films<\/a>, which will launch worldwide sales at the upcoming American Film Market<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Set to start production on location in Dublin next spring, \u201cSilverback\u201d sees a notorious criminal move in next door to a stay-at-home dad, who must weigh the benefits of their new friendship against the deadly threat it poses to his family.<\/p>\n
