Nov. 4 (UPI) —<\/span> Focus Features has released a full-length trailer for the upcoming Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson film Song Sung Blue<\/i>.<\/p>\n

The Craig Brewer-written and directed movie, which is based on a true story, sees the stars form a Neil Diamond tribute band to pursue their entertaining dreams.<\/p>\n

The film, which Brewer based on a 2008 documentary<\/a>, sees Jackman and Hudson play two down-on-their-luck musicians who form a Neil Diamond tribute band called Lightning & Thunder.<\/p>\n

Appearing in the movie with Jackman and Hudson are Michael Imperioli, Ella Anderson, King Princess, Mustafa Shakir, Hudson Hensley, Fisher Stevens and Jim Belushi.<\/p>\n

Song Sung Blue<\/i> hits theaters on Dec. 25.<\/p>\n
