Robert Pattinson <\/strong>and Jennifer Lawrence <\/strong>have recalled their embarrassing first meeting. The actors recently attended the New York premiere of their new movie Die My Love, where they shared the funny story. The two looked back on how awkward things were the first time they met.<\/p>\n Jennifer Lawrence <\/a>and Robert Pattinson have opened up about the ridiculous moment that the pair bonded over after their first meeting. Speaking with Access Hollywood, the actors shared the hilarious throwback.<\/p>\n \u201cWe couldn\u2019t have gotten much closer from doing interpretive dance lessons together \u2013 that really broke us,\u201d Lawrence shared.<\/p>\n The actress looked back on the hilarious rehearsals that broke the ice between them. \u201cWe both embarrass easily, and \u2013 that was like \u2013 we did not know each other. It was before we were shooting, and we were like, \u2018hi, I\u2019m Jen, hi, I\u2019m Rob,\u2019 and then we had to do interpretive dance,\u201d Lawrence said with a chuckle.<\/p>\n The Hunger Games star concluded by saying, \u201cI\u2019ve never done something that humiliating with somebody, so I think we will forever be bonded in that way.\u201d<\/p>\n Pattinson weighed in on the story as well, giving his thoughts on doing interpretive dance with Lawrence upon their first meeting. \u201cIt\u2019s what everyone should do!\u201d the actor jokingly declared. Pattinson called it \u201cthe easiest first impression\u201d and said, \u201cIt\u2019s the only way I\u2019ve ever made a good first impression.\u201d<\/p>\n Lawrence and Pattinson star in the 2025 black comedy-drama Die My Love<\/a>, directed by Lynne Ramsay. The movie is based on Ariana Harwicz\u2019s 2012 novel of the same name. The story follows a young mother who struggles with postpartum depression and moves to a rural town with her husband. However, the couple begins to experience psychological distress that threatens their marriage.<\/p>\n Die My Love had its world premiere at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, earning a nomination for the Palme d\u2019Or.
