Just a few weeks ahead of the premiere for \u201cWicked: For Good,\u201d NBC is airing a special television event for fans of \u201cWicked\u201d titled \u201cWicked: One Wonderful Night.\u201d<\/p>\n

The two-hour musical special airing on NBC on Thursday is meant to set the stage for the movie\u2019s premiere, per NBC. <\/a>It will include appearances from multiple stars from both \u201cWicked\u201d and \u201cWicked: For Good\u201d and performances of songs from both movies.<\/p>\n

\u201cWicked: For Good\u2019s\u201d theatrical release date is Nov. 21 almost exactly one year after the first movie\u2019s release.<\/p>\n

What is \u2018Wicked: One Wonderful Night\u2019?<\/h3>\n

The special was filmed at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, with the stage transformed into an Emerald City-inspired set including a 37-piece live orchestra. The musicians are led by musical director Stephen Oremus.<\/p>\n

According to the official press release<\/a>, fans should expect \u201can unforgettable night of reimagined musical arrangements, cast interviews, behind-the-scenes moments, exclusive surprises and maybe even a sneak peek at what\u2019s to come in the next chapter of Oz.\u201d<\/p>\n

The dance numbers for the special were choreographed by Christopher Scott.<\/p>\n

\u201cWicked: One Wonderful Night\u201d will also include never-before-seen clips from the two new original songs that will be featured in \u201cWicked: For Good.\u201d The new songs are \u201cNo Place Like Home\u201d and \u201cThe Girl in the Bubble,\u201d according to Deadline. <\/a><\/p>\n

One of the film\u2019s stars, Ariana Grande, said the idea behind the special was to make the promotion of the sequel \u201cmore about the fans this time,\u201d per Billboard. <\/a><\/p>\n

Who will make an appearance on \u2018Wicked: One Wonderful Night\u2019?<\/h3>\n

The TV event will feature performances from both Grande and her co-star Cynthia Erivo.<\/p>\n

There will also be appearances from other cast members: Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang and Marissa Bode, according to NBC. <\/a><\/p>\n

This week, NBC shared a sneak peek video of the special which shows Grande and Erivo singing \u201cWhat Is This Feeling\u201d a song from the first movie. The pair will also be singing \u201cFor Good\u201d from the sequel.<\/p>\n

How you can watch \u2018Wicked: One Wonderful Night\u2019<\/h3>\n

\u201cWicked: One Wonderful Night\u201d will air on Thursday at 9 p.m. MST on NBC. <\/a><\/p>\n
