The 22-second clip, shared on the White House\u2019s official account, features the lyric \u201cKeep it one hundred on the land, the sea, the sky\u201d emblazoned over clips of different branches of the military, before cutting to pictures of Trump, JD Vance, and their respective spouses when the song reaches the line \u201cPledge allegiance to your hands, your team, your vibes.\u201d A picture of Trump\u2019s mugshot also flashes on-screen, accompanied by the lyric \u201cdon\u2019t care where the hell you been.\u201d The incident sparked an immediate backlash from Swift fans, who flooded the comments to criticize the crass appropriation of the song\u2019s lyrics. \u201cOhhh Taylor is going to hate you\u2019re using her song,\u201d one user wrote. \u201cI\u2019m sure Taylor is going to be thrilled,\u201d quipped another. \u201cWhat happened to \u2018I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT\u2019?\u201d a third asked, referring to a previous post<\/a> made the president, while others implored Swift to sue the administration over the presumably unauthorized use of her song.
