Get ready to feel like your brain just went through a sausage grinder.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Last week, \u201c<\/span>Jeopardy!<\/span><\/a>\u201d host <\/span>Ken Jennings<\/span><\/a> found himself publicly apologizing for something pretty ridiculous after the show received backlash for a clue involving an <\/span>internet meme known as John Pork<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n John Pork is an anthropomorphic pigman with a human body and pig head, who has been popping up in Instagram and TikTok content since 2018. The meme\u2019s use is about as silly and confusing as the viral 6-7 joke<\/a>, or as one Reddit user described<\/a> it: \u201cInternet nonsense that is aimed at bored teenagers.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n John Pork is sometimes used just to befuddle older folks. Here\u2019s a little sample:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n As goofy as this all sounds, due to John Pork\u2019s popularity, the pigman has some user-generated internet \u201clore\u201d \u2014 or essentially fans of the meme have let their imagination go hog wild about John Pork\u2019s life. He was apparently killed by his nemesis Tim Cheese, a rodent-man with a mouse\u2019s head and human body, and the reasons as to why vary. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Being that John Pork is very much a thing, the writers of \u201cJeopardy!\u201d decided to use him as a clue during the airing of its Oct. 24 episode in a category titled \u201cDaddy Is There Really A\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cNo: A.I. Generated The TikTok Image of this pig\/human eventually killed by Tim Cheese.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Needless to say, the clue baffled the contestants, and no one answered. Jennings was also lost.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI didn\u2019t understand any of that,\u201d Jennings said as the buzzer sounded, before revealing the answer. \u201cWho is John Pork?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
