Erika Kirk<\/a>, the widow of conservative activist Charlie Kirk<\/a>, has given her first interview since her husband\u2019s assassination, during which she revealed that Sinclair Broadcast Group offered to try to get her an apology from Jimmy Kimmel.<\/a><\/p>\n The revelation came in an excerpt of the interview, which is set to air in full on Wednesday\u2019s (November 5) edition of Fox News\u2019 Jesse Watters Primetime<\/em><\/a> at 8 pm ET. In the clip, Watters<\/a> asks Erika, \u201cJimmy Kimmel lied about your husband\u2019s murder and didn\u2019t really apologize\u2026 What would you say to Jimmy Kimmel?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSame thing I told Sinclair,\u201d she responded. \u201cThey asked, I haven\u2019t really told anybody this, so they asked, \u2018Do you want Jimmy to give you an apology? Do you want to be on a show? How can we make it right?’\u201d<\/p>\n She continued, \u201cThrough our team, I responded, I said, \u2018Tell them thank you, we received their note. This is not our issue, not our mess. If you want to say I\u2019m sorry to someone who\u2019s grieving, go right ahead. But if that\u2019s not in your heart, don\u2019t do it. I don\u2019t want it. I don\u2019t need it.’\u201d<\/p>\n
