AKRON, Ohio — Akron Comicon returns to Emidio\u2019s Expo Center, 48 E. Bath Road in Cuyahoga Falls, on Saturday, Nov. 8, and Sunday, Nov. 9. The 12th annual event will feature appearances by comic book creators, film and TV actors, well-known cosplayers and more.<\/p>\n
Headliners include former Marvel Comics art director Steve Geiger (\u201cSpider-Man Unlimited,\u201d \u201cThe Incredible Hulk\u201d); actor Greg Evigan (\u201cB.J. and the Bear,\u201d \u201cGeneral Hospital,\u201d \u201cMy Two Dads\u201d); and Marta Kristen, who played Judy Robinson on \u201cLost in Space.\u201d<\/p>\n
The event offers something for every kind of fan, from celebrity panels and Q&A sessions to autograph and photo opportunities. Artist Alley will showcase local and national comic book talent, while the vendor floor will be packed with comics, collectibles and pop culture merchandise. There\u2019s also a cosplay contest with prizes for adults and kids, plus activities and workshops designed to inspire young fans.<\/p>\n
