Danielle Fishel<\/a>, best known to TV fans for her role as Topanga on Boy Meets World<\/a><\/em>, and her pro partner Pasha Pashkov<\/a> were eliminated<\/a> on Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night<\/a> on Dancing With the Stars<\/a><\/em> this week.<\/p>\n Last week, judge Carrie Ann Inaba<\/a> had encouraged Fishel to use more space because she\u2019s a \u201ctiny little woman.\u201d So, Pashkov choreographed a Contemporary dance to Aerosmith<\/a>\u2018s \u201cDream On\u201d that had Fishel literally filling up more space. The duo accomplished this by Fishel extending her limbs when Pashkov had her up in the air, filling the space around her up as much as she could.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a great feeling,\u201d Fishel told TV Insider on the post-show press line, which takes place right on the ballroom floor. \u201cIt was a great lift. We had such an emotional week. To just finish the dance actually felt good. \u2018Wow! We did it!\u2019 It was a proud moment.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s a champ,\u201d Pashkov said of his celebrity partner. \u201cShe\u2019s a champ. She takes criticism like a champ. She works hard. She shows up. She never backs down. She pushes through no matter how hard it is.\u201d<\/p>\n Danielle Fishel and Pasha Pashkov \u2014 ‘Dancing With the Stars’ “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night”<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n Disney\/Christopher Willard<\/p>\n The comments from the judges indicated that Fishel wasn\u2019t having her best week \u201cSomething went wrong,\u201d Bruno Tonioli<\/a> said. \u201cThere was a tiny mix-up in the dance. It did happen. But you should be proud of yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re somebody that we all root for,\u201d Derek Hough<\/a> said. \u201cTonight, it felt little disjointed here and there, but overall, something [about which] you should feel very proud.\u201d<\/p>\n Hough and Tonioli held up their \u201c8\u201d paddles for the couple, but Inaba scored them a point higher. (Guest judge Flavor Flav<\/a> also gave the duo a \u201c9.\u201d)<\/p>\n \u201cContemporary is all about the emotion,\u201d Inaba noted. \u201cIt\u2019s all about the storytelling. You told that story. I felt the chills. There\u2019s that magic thing that happens in the air that we could all feel that takes us into a place that\u2019s not here right now. Thank you for the transport.\u201d<\/p>\n Fishel and Pashkov\u2019s exit was surprising in that she was the group dance captain for \u201cTeam Chicago,\u201d which earned a perfect score. \u201cOh, my gosh,\u201d she marveled of the group dance. \u201cWhat a high note to go out on. It was also not just the performance went well. It was that we got to rehearse it. We actually only had about seven hours, but every moment in rehearsal was just fun. As we were doing it, we were aware that we were making great memories and putting together a great dance. When it landed and we finished, it was excitement like I\u2019d never felt before.\u201d<\/p>\n The remaining couples will miss seeing Fishel and Pashkov in the rehearsal studios and in the skybox.<\/p>\n \u201cDanielle is great,\u201d raved pro dancer Mark Balls. \u201cI love her.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cDanielle set the tone,\u201d said Whitney Leavitt<\/a> (The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives<\/a><\/em>), Ballas\u2019s celebrity partner. \u201cShe was our team captain [for \u201cTeam Chicago\u201d], and she set the tone of all of us. I\u2019ve gotten really close with her. It sucks to see her go. I\u2019m so grateful I got to experience the first \u201810s\u2019 of the season with her [in our group dance].\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cDanielle is the greatest,\u201d said Robert Irwin<\/a>, who is partnered with pro dance Witney Carson<\/a>. \u201cI am so gutted she is gone. Her light, energy, and authenticity are second to none.\u201d<\/p>\n Irwin\u2019s a bit young to have seen Fishel on first-run episodes of Boy Meets World<\/em> (as he wasn\u2019t born yet), but he does know Fishel from her other work. \u201cShe\u2019s a fantastic director,\u201d Irwin said. \u201cThey say, \u2018Never meet your heroes,\u2019 but [Danielle] is a true, genuine human being.\u201d<\/p>\n Can Fishel predict who\u2019s going to win the coveted Len Goodman Memorial Mirrorball trophy? \u201cI have seven<\/em> winners in my mind of the seven people remaining,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd they\u2019re all for different reasons. There are different levels of athleticism, different levels of dance skills, and different levels of personalities. I can\u2019t say any one is more deserving or carries more weight than the other.\u201d<\/p>\n As for the future, Pashkov will likely join other ejected dance pros to take part in opening numbers and perform in the show when needed. Fishel said she\u2019s excited about \u201cmaking my kids\u2019 lunches, possibly taking them to school for the first time in 11 weeks, and then I\u2019m going to take a nap!\u201d<\/p>\n
