In a post on <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.henryrollins.com\/on-the-radio-all\/2025\/10\/31\/radio-broadcast-865-103125\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.henryrollins.com\/on-the-radio-all\/2025\/10\/31\/radio-broadcast-865-103125\" target=\"_blank\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\">his website<\/a>, Rollins revealed the pair had been recording at Inner Ear Studios in Washington.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;[It&#8217;s] where we made our first records decades ago and mixed a four song session with the great Don Zientara at the board,&#8221; Rollins wrote. &#8220;This is the same studio, where the Teen Idles, Minor Threat, Bad Brains, and many others recorded. It was amazing to be back there with Ian and Don.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" id=\"elk-seasonal\" data-url=\"\" href=\"\" target=\"_blank\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\"\/><\/p>\n<aside data-block-type=\"embed\" data-render-type=\"fte\" data-skip=\"dealsy\" data-widget-type=\"seasonal\" class=\"hawk-root\"\/>\n<p id=\"b3f6d0e9-be94-4836-ba34-2e2d51221dfa-2\">&#8220;Part way through the mix, none other than Eddie Janney, he of the Untouchables, Rights Of Spring [sic], One Last Wish, Happy Go Licky, Skewbald and other great bands joined us. The session benefited greatly by his presence. As to the tracks, I had them mastered several days ago, and I\u2019m now working on the layout and design for the record. When it\u2019s ready, I\u2019ll let you know. The singer hasn&#8217;t recorded a full album since 2004&#8217;s <em>Weighting <\/em>with the Rollins Band and although he has made guest appearances with groups including The Flaming Lips and Ruts DC, he has often ruled out a full return to the music industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have not thought lyrically since about the year 2000, 2001,\u201d Rollins told <em>Loudwire Nights<\/em> host Chuck Armstrong.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m smart enough to not come back for the encore. &#8216;Hey, you missed me?&#8217; I never asked that question. I just leave \u2026 I don\u2019t quiet quit. I don\u2019t fade. I just split after every obligation has been met.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although Rollins&#8217; last tour in a band was in 2006, he has remained incredibly active in the two decades since.
