A prominent Hollywood music venue is closing early next year, though the owners indicate they plan to return in a new location in 2027.<\/p>\n
The Hotel Caf\u00e9 is ending its 25-year run at 1623 N. Cahuenga Blvd. in early 2026, the venue announced on Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n TimeOut noted<\/a> that while no official closing date has been announced, the venue\u2019s website<\/a> lists shows through Dec. 16.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is hard to put into words what this space and the last quarter century have meant to us, and to all of you who have filled it with songs, stories, and life. The Hotel Cafe has been more than a venue. (Tiffany Rose\/WireImage)<\/p>\n But those owners also offered a peek at their plans for the future, noting \u201cthis is not the end for us.\u201d<\/p>\n The Hotel Caf\u00e9 will reopen in the first half of 2027 inside the Lumina Hollywood, located at the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Gordon Street.<\/p>\n \u201cThe expanded venue will honor the soul and intimacy of the original location, while offering a more modern, elevated experience for both artists and audiences,\u201d the social media post said.<\/p>\n Before that transition period, the Hotel Caf\u00e9 will be hosting \u201ca run of farewell performances featuring friends old & new.<\/p>\n Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc.
