I said, \u2018What do you think a family is?\u2019\u201d she said. \u201cAnd he said, \u2018Well, it\u2019s a group of people that love each other.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cThat\u2019s why we\u2019re separated,\u201d the meteorologist shared. <span class=\"credit\">Brian Fichera\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cAll those things that are broken, I don\u2019t hold them against you because we accepted they\u2019re broken,\u201d Dreyer said. <span class=\"credit\">Brian Fichera\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cAnd I said, \u2018That\u2019s what we are. And we will always be that for you. But Mommy and Daddy work better as friends than as husband and wife,&#8217;\u201d Dreyer explained. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd [Calvin] doesn\u2019t care about a title. He doesn\u2019t care what we are officially, none of them do.
