Brendan Fraser<\/a> fans who have been anxiously hoping that The Mummy 4<\/a><\/strong> could someday become a reality can finally be at ease.<\/p>\n Fraser starred as Rick O\u2019Connell in The Mummy<\/a>, a 1999 action-adventure film directed by Stephen Sommers that was released by Universal Pictures<\/a>. The cast of that film also includes Rachel Weisz<\/a> as Evelyn Carnahan, John Hannah as Jonathan Carnahan, and Arnold Vosloo.<\/p>\n The Mummy was followed by two sequels: 2001\u2019s The Mummy Returns<\/a> and 2008\u2019s The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor<\/a>. Fraser, Weisz, Hannah, and Vosloo all returned for The Mummy Returns, while only Fraser and Hannah did for Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. Maria Bellow played Evelyn in that movie instead of Weisz. The two of them are known for making 2014\u2019s Devil\u2019s Due, 2019\u2019s Ready or Not, 2022\u2019s Scream, 2023\u2019s Scream VI, and 2024\u2019s Abigail. They\u2019re currently working on a sequel to Ready or Not, titled Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, that arrives in April.<\/p>\n The script for The Mummy 4 comes from David Coggeshall, while Sean Daniel, William Sherak, James Vanderbilt, and Paul Neinstein serve as producers.
